i seriously dont think people understand the implication that when you say something akin to "men never have to experience misogyny" what you are actually doing is saying that trans men arent men. but no one seems to think about this that way.

Adding a bit more, I think this is one of those things where it can also be useful to distinguish between systemic and individual bigotry/opression
Like, a cis dude writing about feminism being mistaken for a cis woman and getting misogyny hurled at him *has* experienced misogyny directed at him, BUT doesn't experience it a *systemic* thing.
Anyway as you said, it costs zero dollars to say what one *actually* means, and it sure would be nice if people did.
